Migrating from Elba
If you ran your sole-proprietor affairs in Elba, you can move the settlement-account transaction history into a Svodly business book — to see your money, counterparties and cash flow in one place. Export the transactions to Excel and import them.
Important: the import moves your history, it does not replace tax accounting. Svodly does not build the KUDiR automatically, does not calculate taxes and does not file reports. Use the move to keep day-to-day money tracking; for declarations and the KUDiR keep using a dedicated service.
What gets moved
| From Elba | Into Svodly |
|---|---|
| Settlement-account transactions | Yes — debit and credit with date and amount |
| Counterparties | Yes — from the payment purpose and details |
| Payment purpose | Yes — as the transaction description |
| KUDiR rows | Yes — as transactions (a separate export) |
| Opening balance | No — entered manually |
| Declarations and tax calculation | No |
Step 1. Export from Elba
- Sign in to Elba and open the “Money” section.
- Open the settlement-account transactions for the period you need.
- Export them to Excel (XLSX).
- If needed, export the KUDiR separately — it can also be imported as transactions.
Step 2. Import into Svodly
- Create a “Business” type book and an account for your settlement account.
- Open Import and drag the Excel file in.
- Check the column mapping: date, counterparty, payment purpose, debit, credit.
- Choose the destination account (the settlement account) and review the preview.
- Confirm the import.
More on the mapping and the preview — in the “Import & export” section. About the business book — in the “Business book” section.
Mapping specifics
Opening balance. Elba does not provide the balance at the start of the period. So that the account balance adds up, add an “Adjustment” transaction for the balance amount as of just before the first imported transaction.
Counterparties are created from the payment purpose; the INN, KPP and address can be filled in afterwards on the counterparty card right in Svodly.
What won’t come across
- The KUDiR as a document, declarations, tax calculation. Svodly does not produce them.
- Opening balances. Entered manually with an “Adjustment” transaction.
- Employees, HR and reporting data. They stay in Elba.
Undo, if something went wrong
An import is saved as a separate batch. Not happy with the result — open the import log and tap “Undo”: the batch’s transactions are deleted and the account balance returns to its previous state.
Frequently asked questions
Will Svodly replace Elba for taxes and reporting?
No. The import is meant to move the transaction history and keep day-to-day money tracking in Svodly. The KUDiR, tax calculation and filing of reports are not yet replaced by Svodly — keep using a dedicated service for that.
Where do I export the transactions in Elba?
In the “Money” section — settlement-account transactions can be exported to Excel for a chosen period. The KUDiR can be exported separately.
Why doesn’t the account balance add up after the import?
Most likely the export has no opening balance — Elba does not provide the balance at the start of the period. Add an “Adjustment” transaction for the balance amount before the first imported transaction, and the balance will add up.
Will counterparties with their details be moved?
Yes. From the payment purpose and the details Svodly will create counterparties; the INN and other details can be filled in afterwards on the counterparty card.
