Summary

“Summary” is the first screen you see on launch. It answers four questions without a single click: how much money you have, where it went this month, what you promised yourself (budgets and goals) and what you owe other people. The set of cards is fixed — the order is yours on the computer and on the web: drag the cards into the way you actually read them.

The Summary of a personal book: the month’s figures, cash flow, spending by category, recent transactions, budgets, goals and debts.
On the phone the Summary is a vertical feed: the balance in the header, then budgets and goals, and below — transactions by day.

What the Summary is made of

On a computer and on the web the Summary is a grid of cards. Each answers its own question and opens the matching section when clicked.

Card What it shows
Figures The balance across all accounts, income and expenses for the month, and “Free” — the share of income you have not spent. Under each number — a comparison with the previous month.
Cash flow “Income / expense” bars by month and the net-flow line. The period switches between month, six months, year and all time. Transfers between your own accounts are shown separately and never counted as income or expense.
Spending by category A donut chart for the chosen period; clicking a slice takes you to “Analytics”.
Recent transactions A few fresh entries; a click opens the transaction, the heading — the whole section.
Budgets Progress on every limit with a “calm / on the edge / overspent” status. The overall budget of the book comes first.
Goals The goals of your savings accounts with their step checklists. With no savings accounts the card is not there at all.
Debts “They owe you · You owe · Net” and a list of open debts with their due dates.
A business book has its own Summary — with turnover, the tax base, receivables and payables. It is described in the “Business book” section.

The order of the cards

Computer and web

The Summary cards can be arranged in the order you actually read them: figures on top, budgets under them, debts at the bottom — or the other way round. The order is set by dragging and is remembered on this device.

How to move a card

  1. Press Customise card order — the dotted “handle” button in the Summary header. The screen switches to rearrange mode: a heading-handle appears above every card, and Reset order and Done appear in the header.
  2. Grab the card by that heading — not by its content. Press the handle and keep the mouse button held.
  3. Move to the new place. The card follows the cursor as a translucent ghost, and the one you are hovering over gets a dashed outline — that is where the card will land.
  4. Release the button. The cards swap, the neighbours shift, and the widths are recalculated for the new layout.
  5. Press Done or Esc — the mode closes, the order stays.
Dragging: the “Cash flow” card is picked up by its heading-handle, follows the cursor as a ghost, the target is outlined with a dashed frame — on release the two cards swap.
Rearranging the cards is not supported in the mobile app — it exists on the computer and on the web only. In the app the Summary is a fixed feed.

Mouse, finger and keyboard

You can drag with a mouse and — on a touch screen — with a finger. There is also a keyboard path, with no dragging at all:

  1. Tab — move focus to the heading-handle of the card you want;
  2. Space — pick the card up;
  3. — choose the new place;
  4. Space — drop it (Esc — cancel the move).

The app announces every step to a screen reader in the interface language: which card was picked up, which one you are over, where it was dropped.

What is remembered and what does not move

The order is kept on this device and is not synchronised — the layout of a large monitor and the layout of a laptop are different jobs, and the app does not carry one over to the other. The web and the desktop app each remember their own order too.

Reset order brings back the default: figures → cash flow → spending by category → recent transactions → budgets → goals → debts.

What is not rearranged: the header, the welcome plate, the invitation hint and the interest-free period reminders — they always stay on top. On a narrow screen (a phone-width web window) rearranging is unavailable: there the Summary runs as a single column from top to bottom.

Savings goals

The “Goals” card gathers the goals of every savings account in the book. Each shows its title, “X of Y saved”, a percentage and what is left — or “Goal reached”. Progress is measured by the real account balance, not by the ticks: there is no separate “pot” living a life of its own.

Under the goal are its steps: a checklist that breaks a big number into reachable parts. A step can be ticked straight from the Summary — the app offers Record a transfer (a transfer into this account opens with the step's amount already filled in) or Mark without a transaction if the money was set aside in cash.

Clicking the goal's heading opens the account card on the “Goal and forecast” tab — that is also where the list of steps is edited. If the book has no savings accounts, there is no “Goals” card on the Summary at all.

The “Goals” card: progress towards a savings account’s goal, the checklist of steps and the “Record a transfer” / “Mark without a transaction” choice.
On the phone the “Goals” block is the same: progress, steps and the same choice when ticking — only as a bottom sheet instead of a dialog.

Debts

The “Debts” card answers “who owes whom” in one line: “They owe you · You owe · Net” — per currency. Below is a list of open debts with their due dates; an overdue one is highlighted in red, and clicking a row opens the account.

With no debts the card does not disappear — it answers “You have no debts” and offers a Add a debt button. That is an answer too, and it is needed just as often as the list.

The debts themselves are accounts of type “Debt”: one account per person, movements through ordinary transfers.

The “Debts” card on the Summary: “They owe you · You owe · Net” and a list of open debts with their due dates; clicking a row opens the account.
On the phone “Debts” is the same card in the Summary feed: the per-direction summary and the list of debts with their due dates.

The interest-free period reminder

If seven days or fewer are left before the end of a credit card's interest-free period, a plate appears at the top of the Summary: the account name, the exact amount and the date — “pay N ₽ by …” — and a Go to payoff button. Three days before the deadline, and after the period has been broken, the plate turns red.

The cross hides the reminder until the end of the current cycle: the next statement brings it back. Pay the debt off and the plate goes away by itself.

The plate works for both grace mechanics — for monthly statements and for the single deadline on the whole debt.
