Interface overview

Every version of Svodly — desktop, web, mobile — is laid out the same way. The side navigation (or the bottom tabs on a phone) takes you to the sections. Here's a short map to help you find your way around.

Opening the section menu: tap “⋯” in the corner of “Summary” — out slide Analytics, Books, Budgets, Categories, Counterparties and the rest of the sections.

Main sections

Section	What's inside
Summary	The dashboard: account balances, income and expenses for the period, top categories, budget progress. Opens by default.
Transactions	The full list of income, expenses and transfers. Search, filters, grouping by day and week.
Accounts	Cards, cash, savings, loans. Grouping and archiving.
Categories	A hierarchical tree of categories with icons and color. A starter set plus your own.
Counterparties	People and organizations you pay or get paid by. Handy for reports.
Budgets	Limits on categories or counterparties for a period. Warnings as you approach the limit.
Analytics	Reports by period, breakdowns by category and account, period comparison.
Books	Switching between books (personal, business), creating new ones.
Import	Loading transaction history from CSV, JSON or Excel.
Sync	Connecting Svodly Cloud, running a manual sync, devices and sessions.
Family / shared access	Invitations, roles and the member list of any book. In a personal book the section is called “Family access”, in a business book — “Shared access”; available when the cloud is connected.
Settings	Profile, default currency, theme, export, privacy policy, sign-out.

Where things are in the mobile app

On the phone there are four main tabs at the bottom and a large + button for quick entry:

Summary — the dashboard.
Transactions — the list and search.
Accounts — cards and cash.
Cashback — cashback rules per card.

The remaining sections (Analytics, Books, Budgets, Categories, Counterparties, Family / shared access, Import & export, Backups, Settings) are tucked into the ··· menu in the corner of “Summary”. You can open them with a single tap.

Light and dark theme

By default Svodly follows your system appearance, but you can set the theme manually: Settings → Appearance → Theme. Three options — System (matches your system), Light and Dark. The choice is remembered separately on each device.

Switching the theme: Settings → Appearance → Theme (System, Light, Dark).

Dark theme on the phone: Summary → “⋯” → Settings → Appearance → Dark — and back to “Summary” in the new theme.

Search and filters

On the Transactions tab, search looks across amount, date, description, category and counterparty all at once. You can combine it with filters: period, account, type.

Search on “Transactions”: a query instantly narrows the list; next to it — filters by period, account, category and type.

Filters on “Transactions”: switching the type — All, Expenses, Income — rebuilds the list instantly (period and account are right there).

Several devices at once

If you've connected the cloud, every instance of the app automatically picks up changes. With the same book open on your phone and laptop, a transaction added in one place shows up in the other within a few seconds.
